Owner, Baker, Decorator
Lydia is the owner of Sugar & Slice Bakery. She started baking at home with her mom as far back as she can remember! Starting a business at 15 years old made her grow up fast but savor every moment of the craziness. "Running a business is one of the hardest and most gratifying things that I have ever done! Everyday it is exciting to wake up and live out my dream with people that love sugar just as much as me," said Lydia. Lydia specializes in the decorating of custom cakes along with cupcakes. Being a self taught baker, she can pretty much make any design work!

Maria Allen
Lydia's Mom, Cheesecake Curator & Baker
Maria has always been a baking fanatic! Being a stay at home mom of twins, Matt and Rachel, and Lydia, Maria was always known by their friends for having the best cookies around. When she is not baking she enjoys decorating the house or going to Hobby Lobby and Home Goods. "As a young person, I always wanted to have my own bakery. Watching Lydia develop her baking and decorating skills has been very exciting! I may have gotten more gray hair since I started working for her, but I love being able to be a part of Lydia's dream come true!" -Maria. She makes all of our cheesecakes and pies with a lot of love and a lot of BUTTER!

Bakery Operations Manager & Cookie Artist
Dani has a recently found passion for cake & cookie decorating at Sugar & Slice Bakery. She started her after high school career getting a degree as a Vet Tech. After starting her job at Sugar & Slice for the holiday season, she decided to stay and start advancing in the art of sugar cookie and cake decorating. "Decorating allows me to show my inner artistry while being able to recite my favorite Shrek quotes to my co-workers, especially Nicole." - Dani
